Rockhampton Based Bike & Boudoir Photography

+ Pop Up Minis across QLD

Welcome Babe! You’ve just stepped into more than a photoshoot- this is a full experience designed to make you feel powerful, confident, and unforgettable. At Babes & Bikes, we capture raw energy, bold femininity, and that untouchable edge that turns a moment into art. Whether it’s your first time in front of the camera or your hundredth, this is your space to reclaim that confidence.

For the Babes Who Ride- and the Babes Who Just Want to Feel Alive.

You don’t need to ride to belong here. You don’t need to know your way around an engine. You just need to show up as YOU.

Babes & Bikes shoots are about more than bikes- they’re about energy. They’re about women reclaiming their space in front of the camera, owning their sensuality, embracing their edge, and stepping into their power.

Our sessions attract a powerful mix of women- from those riding their first wave of confidence to creators, dancers, models, and everyday babes. We work with mechanics, mums, gym girls, tradies, introverts, extroverts, and women who simply want to do something bold, beautiful, and just for themselves.

“Here you don’t shrink to fit the frame- the frame expands for you. Babes & Bikes is built for the women who know their worth, flaunt what they’ve got, and look sexy doing it. This is your power. This is your moment

Expanding the Vision: More Than Just a Shoot

What started as a bold studio concept quickly turned into a full-blown movement. Babes & Bikes is no longer just about motorbikes - it’s about moments, confidence, and creating space for women to feel powerful, sexy, and seen.

As interest grew so did the need to create more- more connection, more style, and more opportunities for women to show up for themselves. That’s when our merchandise line launched- an extension of the attitude we bring to every session. Every piece is designed to be worn with pride, whether you’re on a bike or in front of the camera.

The Origins: Women and Motorbikes

The intertwining of women and motorbikes dates back over a century. One of the earliest documented instances is Effie Hotchkiss, who, in 1915, embarked on a cross-country journey from Brooklyn, New York, to San Francisco on a Harley- Davidson with her mother in a sidecar. This feat challenged societal norms and showcased women’s capabilities in motorcycling.

Another trailblazer was Vivian Bales, known as the '“Enthusiast Girl”. In 1929, she undertook a 5,000-mile solo ride across the United States on her Harley- Davidson, becoming the first woman to appear on the cover of Harley-Davidson’s “The Enthusiast” magazine.

These Pioneering women laid the foundation for the iconic imagery of women on motorbikes, blending strength, independence, and style.

Our Story - Babes & Bikes

Babes and Bikes didn’t start with the claim of inventing something new. Women and motorbikes have shared the spotlight for decades - in magazines, posters, and all over social media. It’s a bold, confident, global aesthetic that we simply made our own.

Our Babes & Bikes story began in Rockhampton at a local pub called the Oxy. Our owner, fresh off launching a content studio, was inspired when a regular rolled in on a Harley. The idea hit instantly: “Let’s bring Harley’s into the studio”

From there the vision took off. Drawing from already iconic visuals of women on bikes, the first shoot was marketed and the first contracted photographer was sourced. We brought in the exact bike owned by the regular from the Oxy. What followed was a travelling experience, a growing merch line, and a fully registered business built on confidence, creativity, and authenticity.

We’re not here to claim credit for a concept thats existed for so long - we’re here to build a community around it. Whether you ride, build, pose, or just admire the look, Babes & Bikes is for you.

Got your own bike? Even better we love shooting local babes on local machines.

We’ve built the foundations for something real- and now we’re building a community. Join us on the journey and help shape a space where women feel seen, celebrated, and completely in their element.
